CHARLOTTE — Jarrette Page, 50, was arrested and charged with murder after the shooting death of Joemanie Sweeney, 24, on Sunday afternoon in east Charlotte, police said.
The crime happened around 11:15 a.m. on Faires Road, near Plaza Road Extension.
Police said the man who was shot was pronounced deceased from a gunshot wound.

The shooting was isolated and likely stemmed from an argument, police said.
