Police identify man found shot to death in southeast Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were investigating a homicide in southeast Charlotte Friday evening.

CMPD has identified the victim as Jason Farmer, 24.

Officers responded to the scene just before 6:30 p.m. on Creekridge Road near Village Lake Drive.

Police said they found Farmer shot. He was taken to a local hospital where he died.

Investigators said they are speaking with all those involved and are not looking for any additional suspects.

The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
