CMPD investigating deadly crash in south Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police is investigating a deadly crash in south Charlotte Tuesday evening.

The crash happened along Stonecroft Park Drive just before 6 p.m. MEDIC said they responded to the area for a pedestrian struck call in the area. CMPD confirmed they are investigating a deadly crash in that area.

It is unclear what led up to the crash and if any other people were hurt.
