CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating after a body was found overnight under a bridge on Interstate 77.
The medical examiner was on the scene just after 1 a.m. on I-77 near South Tryon Street.
Police told Channel 9 that the woman's body had been there for some time.
The cause of death is still unclear and more information will be released by the medical examiner.
