CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating after shots were fired Tuesday afternoon in north Charlotte.
Someone fired a gun around 1 p.m. on LaSalle Street at Beatties Ford Road.
An employee of a nearby Family Dollar store told reporter Greg Suskin that she saw a man shooting from a car.
Family Dollar customers said employees told them to get to the back of the store when the shooting started.
No one was injured, but several cars were hit during the shooting.
CMPD blocked LaSalle Street while they investigated.
