CMPD investigates homicide at northeast Charlotte apartments

CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide Wednesday night in northeast Charlotte.

Shortly after 10:00 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding a physical assault at the Arcadia apartments on Falling Waters Court.

At the scene, police found the victim, who would later die at the scene.

CMPD said the investigation into this incidnet is active and ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding this assault is asked to call 704-432-TIPS and speak directly to a homicide unit detective.
