CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police identified a man who was shot and killed Thursday night in northwest Charlotte.
Officers found Antwain Maurice Price, who had suffered gunshot wounds, on Thomasboro Drive. Price was killed on his 39th birthday.

Officers believe Price ran from the location on Thomasboro Drive where he was shot and collapsed in a vacant field.
Police said no arrests have been made.
This is the city's 85th homicide investigation of 2017.
