CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Four people have been shot with BB guns in the last two weeks in a west Charlotte neighborhood, police said.

Paramedics had one person on a stretcher Wednesday morning at a clinic on Wilkinson Boulevard after a BB gun incident.

A few minutes later, paramedics were called to Marlowe Avenue where two people were struck by BBs.

Police said juveniles most likely shot the BB gun.

“It's a dangerous game to play,” CMPD Lt. Brian Sanders said.

He said police arrested four juveniles Tuesday night for shooting another teenager with a BB gun.

Robert Armstrong was shot by a BB gun last week when he left a nearby Walmart.

“They hit me here and in the back and then here,” Armstrong said.

Police have not made an arrest in that case

“I don't call it a sport,” Armstrong’s girlfriend, Tracy Rupp, said. “I call it, ‘Idiots, idiots, idiots.’”

Officers are holding a person who may have had something to do with Wednesday's shootings. They searched his car and two real guns, along with drugs, police said..
