CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The inbound lanes of North Tryon Street just outside uptown were temporarily blocked early Tuesday morning while police investigated a crash involving a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department cruiser.
The wreck happened around 4:30 a.m. on North Tryon Street at Dalton Street.
Paramedics were called to the scene and took two people in the other vehicle to the hospital, but said their injuries were minor.
The officer was not hurt.
Officials have not yet said what caused the crash.
