Officers were called to the homicide along Lakewood Avenue near Rozzelles Ferry Road at about 9:30 p.m.
Channel 9 crews saw two large scenes and several police cars.
As reporter Jonathan Lowe was interviewing a witness, more gunshots could be heard.
“It was like ‘boom’ then next thing I knew, police were everywhere … (gunshots in the background). There it is again,” said witness Veronica Little.
No further information has been released.
Been a while since I have seen this many police cars at a scene. We’re here along Lakewood off of Rozzelles Ferry Rd. Working to get details. But this scene is massive @wsoctv pic.twitter.com/hwQZu0tIGK
