Detectives told Channel 9's Stephanie Tinoco that a family member called the authorities around noon Sunday after finding a man lifeless inside a home on Old House Circle.
Upon arrival, officers said they found 54-year-old Keith Greenwald inside the home and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Channel 9 was there as investigators canvassed the scene and questioned neighbors, who were shocked to hear about the man's death.
Neighbor Cheryl Samuel said she has known him for more than 30 years.
She told Channel 9 that he had been sick lately and she was surprised to see several officers respond to the home.
“It upset me terribly. It was just a shock. I wasn’t expecting that,” said Samuel.
CMPD said the man's name will be released once his family is notified.
