CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There have been nearly 100 homicides in Charlotte so far this year.
The last time the city has reached that kind of territory was in the early '90s.

Channel 9's veteran crime reporter Glenn Counts got a chance to sit down one-on-one with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Kerr Putney.
