CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was beat unconscious during a fight between two people in the middle of the street early Friday night at the Metropolitan at Charlottetown Avenue and South Kings Drive, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
The other person was apprehended at the Target without incident.
Officers drew their weapons because they believed some sort of weapon was used in the altercation.
No weapons were involved in the fight.
The patient's condition is not known and the investigation is ongoing.
