City to vote on construction of new townhomes

CHARLOTTE — A decision is expected on a proposed townhome community in northwest Charlotte.

The Charlotte City Council will vote Tuesday whether to approve more than 100 townhomes on Beatties Ford Road across from Hornets Nest Park.

Several neighbors are opposed to the project due to concerns about traffic and parking.
