CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Parking meters have been posted outside the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, but they are not for people to pay to park.
City employees have installed Charlotte’s first meter-garden outside the Government Center on Fourth Street.
The project is a part of CLT250, a yearlong celebration of the city’s 250th anniversary.
City employees painted parking meters in fun designs ranging from Minions to Snoopy.
