City approves $400K for CMPD to get more ammo

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is getting more ammunition after the Charlotte City Council voted Monday night to spend $400,000 for more of it.

CMPD needs the ammo, law enforcement training, and annual firearm tests, city officials said.
