CHARLOTTE — A woman walked into a Chinese restaurant Sunday night and stabbed the owner with a knife after the two got into an argument, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.

It happened at about 7:45 p.m. at the Cottage Chinese Restaurant on Ashely Road.
The victim had a serious, but non-life-threatening injury, according to police.
