CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A child found a loaded gun inside a bathroom at a University City trampoline park Sunday evening, police said.
The child found the gun inside a bathroom stall at Defy Gravity on University Boulevard.
The general manager told Channel 9 that there is a no-weapon policy at the establishment.
“We will definitely be posting our policy of no weapons to enter the park,” the GM said.
She said the boy never touched the gun, but told his parent immediately. A staff member overheard them, approached them, then blocked off the bathroom.
Police have not said how the gun ended up in the bathroom, but did say that the gun owner called back, looking for the weapon.
No charges have been filed.
Police are continuing their investigation.
