CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Chick-fil-A intends to tear down its existing restaurant — and construct a new one — at the corner of East Woodlawn and Park roads.
A request for rezoning approval is slated to go before Charlotte City Council in January.
That zoning change would allow the popular fast-casual chicken chain to eliminate indoor seating at 1540 E. Woodlawn Road.
Plans call for a 2,400-square-foot restaurant to be constructed on that 0.88-acre site.
