Chester County voters deny $116M school bond

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Chester County voters denied a $116 million school bond.

The bond would have built a new Chester high school and expanded other schools.

If approved, voters would have paid an extra $170 to $340 in taxes a year.

The last time Chester County tried to pass a bond for schools it failed, which was two years ago.
