GASTONIA, N.C. — A short police chase Tuesday in Gastonia led to a crash, authorities said.
Three people in a stolen car tried to get away from police. Two of the occupants were juveniles, authorities told Channel 9.
The stolen vehicle collided with another car at about 6 p.m. near the entrance of Eastridge Mall.

The Gaston County Sheriff's Office said deputies were chasing a stolen car along New Hope Road.
The three occupants, who suffered minor injuries, were taken into custody.
