CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A teenagers' short crime spree and wild ride through east Charlotte ended just before noon Thursday when the car police said they'd stolen crashed into a guardrail.
The incident ended where Reddman Road dead ends into a creek, which was less than an hour after police said they stole the car from the QT station on Eastway Drive.
Kamel Farhad said he had left his car at the pump for a short time when the two teens stole it.
“And someone just came and jumped in my car,” Farhad said. “Took my car and ran.”
After that, police said the teens robbed a woman in the parking lot of the Walmart on Independence Boulevard.
Police said one of the teenagers cut off his electronic monitor earlier in the morning.
Their names have not been released.
