Chase ends in crash in Rowan County, officials say

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A chase ended after a car hit a pole on Webb Road and Yost Road around 10 a.m.n on Tuesday.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol said they took the suspects into custody.

Chopper 9 flew over the scene where police were seen surrounding a car.

Rowan County EMS said it took one person to the hospital for non-emergency treatment.

The roadway was closed for some time while police investigated.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol told Channel 9 that Mecklenburg County Highway Patrol was the lead investigators on this chase. We reached out to Mecklenburg County and are waiting to hear back.
