CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte’s first craft seltzery has opened in the Wesley Heights neighborhood.

Summit Seltzer is tucked into a nearly 3,900-square-foot space at 2215 Thrift Road.

Roughly $1 million has been invested into that operation through Small Business Administration loans and private investors, says Kristin Cagney, founder.

Her family has played a key role in making Summit Seltzer a reality.

Reservations are required on Friday and Saturday to help limit capacity.
