CHARLOTTE, N.C. — If you’re a data scientist, business analyst or project manager in Charlotte, you’re in a good spot for job opportunities. That’s according to job-search site Glassdoor’s list of “The Best Cities for Jobs in 2018,” which ranks the Queen City at No. 25.

Raleigh, however, came in at No. 10, with the report citing registered nurse, research associate and business analyst as hot jobs in that city.
The ranking is based on the website’s Glassdoor City Score, a figure determined by weighing three factors equally: how easy it is to get a job, how affordable it is to live there and how satisfied employees are working there.
It found midsize cities offer better job prospects than massive metros, with Pittsburgh topping the list. Rounding out the top five are St. Louis, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Hartford, Connecticut, in that order.
