Charlotte School of Law receiving federal aid again

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The troubled Charlotte School of Law is receiving federal student aid again, Channel 9 learned.

The Department of Education said it released the second disbursement of direct loan funds to CSL on May 5.

Last year, the government cut off aid and the American Bar Association put the school on probation, saying its acceptance standards were too low.

North Carolina's attorney general is investigating whether students received all the information they needed before deciding to attend the school.
