CHARLOTTE — A local non-profit spent Saturday giving free items to Charlotte women in need.
Healing Vine Harbor gave away shoes, clothing, purses, and household items to women who are unhoused, displaced, or in need.
Representatives from community resource organizations helped connect attendees with programs that may be able to help.
The organization held the event outside the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy off Albemarle Road in east Charlotte.
