CHARLOTTE — There is a new woman-owned small business in north Charlotte.
Jordan Strode held a ribbon-cutting and soft grand opening on Saturday for her new business: J’s Eyelashes and Body Sculpting.
Strode is a Queen City native and played basketball at Hickory Ridge High School.
Strode said health and wellness are two of her passions and opening her new store is a way to give people a place where they can afford to get a look that makes them happy.
The new business owner has a master’s degree and is a licensed clinical counselor. She enjoys making others feel good and hopes to do the same in her new venture.
“I enjoy helping others feel good about themselves, whether that’s physically emotionally. Because I’m also an EAP counselor. I help people who call in when they are in a crisis or just need someone to talk to,” Strode said.
J’s Eyelashes is located in Pease Place, near Mallard Creek Road and W-T Harris Boulevard.
