CONCORD, N.C. — The Charlotte Motor Speedway and NASCAR have taken several precautions to keep drivers and crews safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
Those precautions include multiple health screenings, a plan to deep clean and sanitize every part of the racetrack and strict rules for those inside the facility.

On Wednesday, NASCAR will run its seventh race in the last 11 days. That includes four straight nights of racing at the speedway in Concord.
“We had to get it right there was no room for error,” said Greg Walter, Charlotte Motor Speedway executive vice president and general manager.
