Richard Neal works inside the Frying Pan Tower.

The Frying Pan Tower is recognizable from when there is severe weather because it is sometimes shown with the American Flag on the lighthouse waving violently in the wind.

It is not a big area to stay trapped in for weeks and Neal said he can’t wait to get back to normal.

“I think most folks are a little stir crazy right now, so I think we’re gonna do it different,” Neal said. “We’re not gonna go out there and just give everyone big slaps on the backs and hugs. Probably still maintain some distance and wear our masks for safety, where we need to.”

Neal said other workers were sent home and are working remotely, while he is working at the tower.
