CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman who was reported missing from The Center for Community Transitions, a work-release facility for minimum-custody inmates in Charlotte, has been captured, officials said.
Regina Davis, 33, was arrested in the Tyvola Road area of Charlotte.
Authorities said she will be moved to a higher custody facility and face charges for her escape.
Officials reported Davis missing August 31.
She was sentenced to prison for robbery with a dangerous weapon in 2009.

She was transferred from Swannanoa Correctional Center for Women to The Center for Community Transitions in March.
