CHARLOTTE — Classes at a Charlotte high school will be on what Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools calls “restricted movement” Friday after an anonymous threat.
CMS said they investigated a threat at West Mecklenburg High School and deemed it not credible.
Channel 9 has asked CMS for clarification on how the school will operate on restrictive movement.

In the past, restrictive movement meant officers had to escort students within the school and off campus.
The department said it has no plans for an increased police presence at this time.
