Charlotte FC looks for third consecutive win in Philadelphia

CHARLOTTE — Charlotte FC is gearing up for a big match this weekend.

The club is working to get its third win in a row after it defeated Cincinnati FC 2-0 at Bank of America Stadium on March 26.

The team plays the Philadelphia Union on Saturday.

Charlotte’s Karol Świderski has scored a brace (two goals in a game) in consecutive matches. He’s the second player in the MLS to do so this season, behind Brandon Vázquez. Only four players managed the feat in 2021, and only three did so in the 2020 season (including playoffs).

Charlotte FC will travel to Philadelphia for Saturday night’s match, but you can watch it from the comfort of your own home.

>> Channel 9 is the official TV partner of Charlotte FC. We will broadcast Saturday’s match live starting at 7:30 p.m. on TV64, Telemundo, and will stream on the WSOC Now app.
