CHARLOTTE — Charlotte FC fell 2-1 to Orlando City SC in a match with playoff implications.
The match took place at 7 p.m.
The club is coming off a 3-1 win over New York City FC where the club picked up an important win as the MLS Playoffs race is heating up.

Charlotte sits in 10th place in the MLS Eastern Conference standings with 32 points and a -7 goal differential and sits right behind Orlando, who is currently in the 7th and last playoff spot.
In their previous matchup, Orlando beat Charlotte 2-1 on April 30. Christian Fuchs scored the lone goal for Charlotte.
