CHARLOTTE — The road matches for Charlotte FC continued on Saturday with a trip out west to play the Colorado Rapids.
Charlotte FC and the Rapids tied 0-0 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado, outside of Denver.
The club may be on tired legs after facing off with South Carolina’s Greenville Triumph on Wednesday in an Open Cup match. Charlotte FC needed extra time, but won the match, 2-1, to advance in the tournament.
Saturday’s match is the third leg of a four-contest road trip. The club is still searching for a historic first road victory in MLS play.
