Tepper Sports & Entertainment owns Charlotte FC and the NFL Carolina Panthers. Atrium Health has sponsored the NFL team since the Panthers joined the league in 1995. That sponsorship was expanded in 2019 when Atrium Health bought naming rights to the Panthers’ practice bubble in uptown and put Atrium Health’s logo on players’ practice jerseys.
The Charlotte FC agreement includes Atrium Health adding naming rights for the MLS club’s training home and, as with the Panthers, putting the health-care system’s logo on players’ practice uniforms.
