CHARLOTTE — Another Charlotte startup has been swimming with sharks.

Local entrepreneur Brooke Knaus is the designer and founder behind Tucky, a wardrobe accessory used for tucking in or cropping tops. It’s essentially a jacquard elastic strap that’s worn under the user’s clothing, with grippy silicone to hold a shirt in place, the product’s website says.

Now, Knaus is appearing on the season 14 finale episode of ABC’s “Shark Tank” that’s set to premier at 8 p.m. May 19.

The show features entrepreneurs and inventors hoping to score financial backing and mentorship to grow their companies.
