After a 6 year legal battle, the city bought six homes and paid 40 other homeowners $1.5 million in taxpayer dollars to compensate for lower property values.
The FAA made major changes to flight paths over the last several years that routed more planes over their homes.
Construction on another proposed runway is set for 2028.
