Charlotte Councilwoman Victoria Watlington sets sights for at-large seat

Charlotte The Queen City Metropolitan Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women is hosting four workshops in Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE — A Charlotte City Council district representative has set their sights on a larger seat.

Democratic Councilmember Victoria Watlington announced a run for one of the four seats that represent everyone in the Queen City.

This year, there will be at least one open at-large seat.

Mayor Pro Tem Braxton Winston is running for labor commissioner and is not running for re-election.
