CHARLOTTE — The Political Beat’s Joe Bruno sat down with the first Asian-American and youngest woman to be elected to Charlotte City Council: Dimple Ajmera.
As of right now, Ajmera is the chairperson of the budget committee.
Ajmera received the most votes in last year’s At-Large election. More recently, she announced her plans to run for re-election this fall, with goals to improve city-wide transit, begin development on Eastland Yards, and make improvements to the Panthers’ home at Bank of America Stadium.
