CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Beer Garden has once again been voted No. 1 among such establishments in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice feature.
The South End venue held that lofty spot in last year’s contest, too, and that’s after coming in at No. 3 in 2021 — the first year after it opened. The beer garden, at 1300 S. Tryon St., debuted around the end of February 2020 — just weeks before bars and restaurants were shut down as the Covid-19 pandemic took hold.

“Charlotte Beer Garden offers one of the largest selections of draft beers you’re likely to find in a single restaurant, with more than 400 beers on tap,” reads the USA Today blurb. “Visitors can enjoy their beer of choice at the indoor-outdoor beer bar or on the heated patio.”
