Charlotte-based Belk reopens stores, launches curbside pick-up

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Belk was set to begin a multiphase reopening across its footprint on Friday.

The Charlotte-based retailer says it will reopen stores in South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Those stores will operate from noon until 6 p.m.

Additional reopenings are expected throughout May and will follow local and state protocol. Belk has a dozen stores in the greater Charlotte region and nearly 300 locations across 16 states in the U.S., primarily in the Southeast.
