CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This Charleston, South Carolina, restaurant expects to open its first location in the Queen City by the end of the month.
Verde has snapped up a 2,200-square-foot space in Ballantyne Commons East on John J. Delaney Drive in Ballantyne. An opening date has not been set.
That spot marks Verde’s first Tar Heel State location and fifth restaurant overall. Sam and Jennifer Ferrebee are behind that concept.
Expect that fast-casual restaurant to dish up salads, grain bowls, wraps and fresh-pressed juices — all made from 40-plus seasonally and regionally sourced ingredients. There’s also an option to build your own items.
