CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In the video above, meet the mother who hasn't been able to drive her car for nearly two weeks because of damage from a towing company.
Maranda Freer was a paying customer at the popular Tavern on the Tracks restaurant in South End when her car was mistakenly hauled away.

The mother of two said her bumper was pulled off when the tow truck attempted to return it to the parking lot.
She was struggling to get the $1,039 repair bill paid before Channel 9 offered to help.
Channel 9 investigated Carolina's Towing in May after uncovering public records that suggested a pattern of predatory towing at Tavern on the Tracks.
