Channel 9 gets look at COVID-19 safety precautions in Caldwell County schools

CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — Sanitizing desks between periods, arrows pointing students in one direction, requiring masks to be worn -- these are some of the steps Caldwell County Schools is taking to keep students safe as they split their time between in-person and remote learning.

The school district said it is doing everything possible to keep students and faculty safe.

“It’s kind of been a good thing,” student James Ingram said. “I feel like kids get more attention or the teacher can focus more or maybe even more faster.”
