CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Fire Department is helping its fellow firefighters in Western North Carolina.
CFD wants to donate a decommissioned brush truck to the Broad River Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.

Charlotte Fire says this region has experienced a substantial loss of fire suppression equipment because of Helene.
City Council members will authorize the donation on Monday.
