CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Centers for Disease Control and Prevention doctors are urging everyone to get a flu shot because of a deadly flu strain this year.

"What we have been seeing is a lot of people who are interested in immunizing, in getting themselves prepared for a flu season," pharmacist Jesse Pike said.
