CHARLOTTE, N.C. — It just got easier to visit Carowinds! Park officials have announced that reservations are no longer required to visit Carowinds and Carolina Harbor Waterpark. The park is also adding more days to its summer calendar.

Here’s what else you need to know before you go:
All guests age 5 and older who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear a face covering while indoors unless actively eating or drinking. Face coverings are recommended but not required indoors for fully vaccinated guests.
Visitors are also encouraged to have at least one person in your group download the Carowinds app on their mobile phone and enable “Location Services.” This will allow the park to send you real-time updates.
Contactless payment is encouraged where possible, including paying for parking, dining and merchandise.
