CHARLOTTE — Several metros in the Carolinas rank among the top 25 in U.S. News & World Report’s recent list of the “Best Places to Retire in the U.S. in 2021-2022″ -- but the Queen City isn’t among them.
North Carolina’s top-ranked metro is Asheville, coming in at No. 14. Raleigh and Durham also made the cut, landing together at No. 22, while South Carolina’s Myrtle Beach took top billing for that state at No. 25.
