Carolina Renaissance Festival to host job fair

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Calling all aspiring nobles, pirates, knights and mermaids: The Carolina Renaissance Festival is looking for you.

The festival is currently hiring for its 28th annual event, which is set to take place every Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 2 through Nov. 21.

Seasonal employees will have the opportunity to hawk turkey legs and ale, sell admission tickets, greet guests and perform other duties.

Job hunters can apply online at renfestinfo.com or attend one of several upcoming job fairs that will be held at the festival site at 16445 Poplar Tent Road in Huntersville.

Job fair dates and times are:

Aug. 27-28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sept. 10-11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Applicants should be prepared to produce documents showing they are able to work in the United States, if hired. Resumes are appreciated but not required for most positions. Questions can be directed to crfjobs@renfestinfo.com.

The Carolina Renaissance Festival offers competitive seasonal hourly wages of $12-$15 per hour plus free festival admission tickets to share with friends and family.
